At the Opening General Session on Monday, October 20, 2008 the UNITE members voted unanimously to elect Catherine Murphy and Greg Schweizer by acclamation to the Board of Directors for one two-year terms beginning on October 23, 2008.

F. Guy Bonney, 2008 Election Chair, reported that these being the only two candidates that were submitted to the Election Committee and were qualified, a balloted election was not necessary. Therefore, the two candidates were elected by acclamation.
